Samaipata

The house and surroundings were very pretty and I managed to take nearly 180 photos in just one day..! (I think you'll have to set aside a weekend to get through all my photos by the time I get back...) Anyway, here are just three:

Would it reveal my ignorance on many levels if I were to make allusions to an Hispanic Sound of Music..?

The ordeal by fire haircut doesn't look to bad. Maybe some blank DVD/CD discs for Xmas then would be a good idea.

Jon, I'm basically living my own Sound of Music out here...

Except I haven't become a nun. (Yet).

We also watched Whoopi Goldberg's Sister Act the other night. It's like watching my life right up there on the screen! (More or less.)

Mum, you're right, the haircut isn't all that bad for the US$3 that it cost... The girls didn't like it at first, but I think they do now. The Madres cut the girls' hair as a form of punishment so perhaps when I came back with my hair cut they wondered what I had done to deserve it...!
